Path of ExileTactical Ops and Covert Ops in Arena Breakout: Infinite
Mode and difficulty are different choices
The official Arena Breakout: Infinite site lists Tactical Ops and Covert Ops as modes, while Normal, Lockdown and Forbidden Zone are difficulty tiers. These names describe different aspects of a raid.
Choose the format first, then check available maps and entry conditions in the current client. Use complete mode names when discussing a run with a friend; “normal” can refer to more than one thing.
Tactical Ops: start with the loadout plan
For a run using your prepared equipment, define the purpose first. Learning a route, pursuing an objective and extracting valuables call for different budgets. Include ammunition, protection, medical supplies and carrying space rather than comparing weapon prices alone.
Set a replacement budget before entering. A purchase that consumes all reserves limits subsequent attempts. A useful budget supports the whole session instead of merely producing an impressive inventory screen.
Covert Ops: inspect the issued equipment
Covert Ops starts with an assigned random kit rather than your preassembled personal equipment, as explained in the PC Invasion guide. Check current availability and restrictions in the game itself.
Inspect the weapon, ammunition, medical supplies and carrying capacity before choosing a route. A plan designed around your usual kit may be unsuitable for the equipment actually issued.
Evaluate more than the best item
Compare session time, personal expenditure, extraction outcome and lessons learned instead of judging each format by its most expensive find. Repeatable runs on a familiar route can teach more than one lucky result.
Record why an extraction failed. Repeated time shortages suggest an overlong route; inventory congestion calls for clearer item priorities. The next attempt then has a specific improvement to test.
Specify the exact mode when checking compatibility
When comparing additional products in the Arena Breakout section, specify Infinite, the game client and the intended mode. A general game title cannot answer those details, and mobile Arena Breakout requirements do not transfer to PC.
Decide whether you need a planned personal kit and how much of your own inventory to commit across several attempts. The cover illustrates preparation choices, not actual starting kits.
