ARC Raiders loadout budget: build a repeatable kit

Define the raid objective first

A budget ARC Raiders kit starts with its objective. Material gathering, a specific task and a high-risk loot attempt demand different supplies. Without a clear goal, it is easy to carry too many secondary items and leave little room for the raid’s outcome.

Write down the intended result, expected obstacles and what enables completion. Judge each item by its role, not rarity alone.

Count the whole kit, not only the weapon

Replacement cost includes the weapon, required ammunition, protection and consumables. For crafted items, include materials needed to replace them. A stash item is not costless simply because no immediate purchase is required.

Compare the kit with your reserves. How many unsuccessful runs could you replace while retaining your preferred setup? If one loss stops further play, reduce optional equipment or choose a less expensive objective.

Use Free Loadout in planning

Developers described Free Loadout as a safety net for the player economy in patch 1.22.0. It can support rebuilding supplies, but availability should not be assumed identical across map conditions.

Update 1.33.0 tested restrictions for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny, and 1.36.0 discussed extending the approach. This is change history, not a complete future rulebook. Check restrictions in the current client before preparing.

Keep reserves and adjust one item at a time

Separate the next kit from reserves for later attempts. No universal ratio fits everyone; extraction success, available materials and objectives differ. Prioritize repeatability before increasing individual item costs.

After several runs, note what runs out and what returns unused. Change one part of the kit at a time to see whether an extra consumable actually helps completion or merely adds space and replacement cost.

Separate game resources from subscriptions

Equipment consumes in-game resources; an additional product from the ARC Raiders catalog is a separate purchase with its own terms. Keep the budgets separate and do not judge value from one successful run. No marker or function guarantees extraction.

Evaluate the kit over repeated attempts and software by required features and compatibility. The cover is an illustration, not a recommended inventory of specific in-game items.
